ICLAC is inviting expressions of interest for various roles

ICLAC is in its founding phase, and we are now inviting expressions of interest from people who can help build a professional, evidence-led organisation working for a worldwide ban on aversive dog training tools and methods.

We need committed volunteers who can give time, judgement and specialist skill. Roles sit across the Main Committee leadership, country and regional representation, and the International Advisory Council and it's Working Groups.

What we are looking for

Main Committee (Board) Leadership Officers

• Chair
• Vice-Chair
• Secretary
• Treasurer

These officers keep the Committee organised, accountable and legally careful as ICLAC moves toward formal registration in England.

Representative roles

• Country, regional, provincial or state representatives
• Media representative / spokesperson
• Active advocates and change-makers
• Other specialist and volunteer roles

International Advisory Council Working Groups

• Media Group
• Scientific Evidence Group
• Legislative and Policy Group
• Advocacy Support and Materials
• Regional Coordination Group

We particularly welcome qualified professionals, including veterinary behaviourists, ethologists, certified force-free trainers and behaviour consultants, animal welfare scientists, researchers, educators, veterinarians, data analysts, animal law attorneys, and specialists in law, policy and government relations.
